Maybe we could all be more quiet. It was kind of loud last time. And we could bring in our favorite picture books to read to them like we did in families...or they could bring in a book that they'd want us to read to them.
Maybe to enchane our time with our reading buddies we could not only have time to read but to teach them things like what were reading about such as activities.
To enchanece the time with our reading buddies we could not only have time to red but to talk a liitle father about what we are reading and do some activiies like coloring but it all has to relate to what we are reading. I also think it would be great if we could have a little bit more time to meet with our reading buddies.
I think since small kids in EC2 still aren't technically "Academic" We could do more than just read. I don't know we could do an art activity or play on the smaller kid's playground. Or we could do a telephone game, I used to love that when I was their age.
They can read their favorite story to us so that they can feel good about their reading skills. After reading, we could make paper bag puppets of their favorite characters. With the puppets, we could act out their favorite scenes. This will be good for us 5th graders to learn something from the young members of C.E.E.

ReplyDeleteWe could go play on the playground with them after we read them a book so that we can get to know each other a little bit more.
ReplyDeleteI think we could read more than one book and talk more to our kid.
ReplyDeleteGet a different buddie everytime
ReplyDeleteask your buddy about the book during the story.

ReplyDeleteAfter we finish our book we can have them show us around their classroom.
ReplyDeletemaybe next time to enhance the experience we could switch off the reading buddies and get to meet each child
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time we can do something with our buddies that has to do with the book.
ReplyDelete:)
The EC children could tell us what they like, and we could fined a book on that subject to read to them the next time.
ReplyDeletemaybe each person should get a different partner every time. like lily said we should also, read our favorite book to them.
ReplyDeleteI think we could read them another book or ask them questions about what book they like best.
ReplyDeleteLet the kids choose the book you read to them.
ReplyDeleteI think next time we should switch off partners, so that we can meet and know most of the kids in EC 1.
ReplyDeleteAsk them questions about the book like, whats your favorite picture? And etc.
ReplyDeleteI think we should bring out favorite picture book to read to our buddies
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe switch parters so we can know them but I like my parter
I agree with Lily- to make things a bit more quiet. Also, to bring in our favorite picture book instead of Lucy picking it for us.
